Our webpage is now our shop window on the world and I may just have one second to get your attention. So perhaps before you walk on by, particularly if you’re thinking about music, I really hope you’ll stop, look and listen.

I believe my music quite naturally sits in the audio-visual world, because I feel description is always there when I’m writing and recording. And I feel my songs paint pictures.

I write and record at home and have played and sung with various groups over the years. The Dyaks, Psycho’s Daisies, Wayfarer, Rock Candy, Jabberwock, The Mystere Five. There have also been experimental groups, including one named by Captain Beefheart; The Hat Between, which involved sessions with Kirsty MacColl and Nik Turner from Hawkwind amongst others. And then finally as myself in the here and now.

I co-wrote and sang ‘Sneakin’ Snaky by Jabberwock

I wrote and sang ‘Gutter Kids’ by The Dyaks

I co-wrote and sang ‘No Message’ by The Mystere Five

I wrote and sang ‘Dining At Dzerzhinsky’s’ by Christopher Reeves

All these received radio play and were reviewed by the music press. Specifically ‘Gutter Kids’ was played by John Peel.

Self-promotion is difficult but I feel it’s a necessary part of the work that I need to project something of myself, so here we are. One fellow artist described me as ‘a vulnerable Ray Davis!’ Mmm…..yes well! Another described my music as ‘a parallel universe that is visual as well as musical’. I’ve been a singer and a songwriter since the late 1960’s with a style that’s loosely pop/rock, but in the end I go wherever the song takes me. I suppose that would be called eclectic, or alternative.

I hope I have the song you need and your search is over. That we can combine what you need with what I have to make a fruitful collaboration. You may not know what you want until you hear it. Or, you may know exactly what it is you need to fill your remit.

I’m looking for music supervisors, producers or directors or publishers, in fact any and all media professionals to consider me for your projects.

Occasionally we’re in the right place and the right time….
